The five qualifying days promise to be entertaining, with high-stakes excitement, as the players vie to secure a spot in the main draw. This unique experience sometimes reveals talent of the highest level. Find out who will be taking part in the 2025 Opening Week!

Women’s Singles Qualifying rounds

Pending the announcement of the 2025 wildcards and any last-minute withdrawals, 119 players are already set to participate in the qualifying matches of the Parisian Grand Slam. The two top seeds among them are expected to be American Taylor Townsend and Ukrainian Yuliia Starodubtseva. Last year, Yuliia emerged victorious from the qualifying phase before losing to Cristina Bucsa in the first round of the main draw.

Other well-known players such as Bianca Andreescu, Sara Errani, Tamara Zidansek, Martina Trevisan, Petra Martic, Jule Niemeier and Linda Fruhvirtova will also be taking part, as well as 9 French players: Leolia Jeanjean, Diane Parry, Chloé Paquet, Jessika Ponchet, Elsa Jacquemot, Manon Leonard, Selena Janicijevic, Tessah Andrianjafitrimo and Fiona Ferro. The latter, along with Kaja Juvan, Storm Hunter, Alina Korneeva, Mihaela Buzarnescu, Anna-Lena Friedsam, Darya Astakhova and Stefanie Voegele, have used their protected rankings to enter the 2025 qualifiers.

Similarly to the women, 119 men are set to take part in the qualifiers, with 9 invitations yet to be allocated by the tournament organisers. 15 French representatives will also battle it out during the first week of the tournament, including Arthur Cazaux, Valentin Royer, Adrian Mannarino, Terence Atmane, Calvin Hemery, Hugo Grenier, Luca Van Assche, Constant Lestienne, Ugo Blanchet, Arthur Bouquier, Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Kyrian Jacquet, Harold Mayot, Titouan Droguet and Antoine Escoffier.
